The Marion Park Lewis Foundation awarded more than $142,000 to organizations and individuals this year.

 

Over $106,000 was awarded to individuals. Individual grant recipients are:

 

Joe Cunningham, Stephen Barnes, Dillon Robb of Winchester; Christopher Bloom, Larissa Gallaher, Bryanna Demerly, Nadia Myers, Shelby Franklin, Benjamin Paige, Elizabeth Camery, Jaely Louise Chamberlain, Yongsook Baber, Orin Adcox of Frederick County; Anne Cropper, Kristen Bergner, Sarah Tavenner, Eleanor McCagg, Rebekah Russell of Clarke County; Tiffany Waters, Nichole Naccash, Heather Justice, Anastasia Kubanda of Warren County; Victoria Veach of Shenandoah County; Kyle Saxton of Harrisonburg; Kayla Becker, Jenny Anne Flory, Ryan Wolter, Aleina Kreider, Caitlin McAvoy, Leah Heller, Rachel Quagliariello of Rockingham County; Hannah Franz, Jessica Kinnaman, Savanah Markley of Jefferson County; Aleece Abell, Carol Slovikosky, Lindsay Watkins,  Chelsey Bennett, Keleah Kidwell, Matthew Gillich, Katie Rose of Berkley County.

 

Grants totaling nearly $36,000 were also awarded to local organizations which promote education in the arts. They are: Barns of Rose Hill, Inwood Dance Company, Lord Fairfax Community College Educational Foundation, Opus Oaks, Rockingham Ballet Theatre, Shenandoah Arts Council, Shenandoah University, Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum Shenandoah Valley Music Festival, Wayside Foundation for Arts, Winchester Little Theater and Winchester Musica Viva.
